Elmer Epp of Kamloops has been re-elected chairman of the board of directors of Interior Savings Credit Union (ISCU).
Epp, a partner in the law firm of Taylor, Epp and Dolder, starts his his 10th year as chair of the board.
At the annual general meeting in Kelowna, ISCU members heard about the 2010 financial results, recent accomplishments and plans for the upcoming year.
Epp told them “2010 was a year of continued growth for Interior Savings Credit Union.
“While we are still seeing the effects of the economic downturn, the overall outlook in 2010 was increasingly optimistic and the credit union experienced one of its most-profitable years ever.
“In fact, Interior Savings returned a record of nearly $5.5 million to its members through the member rewards program and invested over half a million dollars back into the community.”
Joining Epp on the board to represent the Thompson/South Okanagan region is Brad Fossett, who was re-elected through acclamation.
