Chamber hosts business-taxation forum
If business taxation is on your mind, a Kamloops Chamber of Commerce luncheon on Wednesday, May 11, might be the place for you.
The chamber is hosting a luncheon focusing on business taxation in Kamloops.
The luncheon will take place from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. at the Plaza Heritage Hotel, at Victoria Street and Fourth Avenue.
Cost is $35 ($25 for chamber members) and includes lunch.
Ron Swinden, a senior appraiser with BC Assessment, will speak on the process of property assessment and Randy Diehl, the City of Kamloops’ chief administrative officer, will address how businesses in Kamloops are assessed.
“The chamber is pleased to provide this opportunity to our business community,” said chamber president Peter Aylen.
“Now is the time to get answers to your questions.”
