TNRD, CUPE Local 900 reach contract agreement

An agreement has been reached between the Thompson-Nicola Regional District and the Canadian Union of Public Employees Local 900.

The contract expires on Dec. 31, 2013 and is retroactive to Jan. 1, 2011. Some of the key elements of the new collective agreement includes a two per cent raise per year for the three years, plus minor increases to benefits and minor housekeeping changes.
