Open Door Group awarded employment contract
The Open Door Group in Kamloops has been awarded a contract to deliver the province’s new Employment Program of British Columbia through a new WorkBC Employment Services Centre in the city, beginning in April 2012.
The goal of the new program is to serve all British Columbians eligible for work in Canada and seeking employment by providing a one-stop approach to service delivery.
In delivering the program, Open Door Group will be working with several partners including Chase and District Employment Centre, Community Futures Thompson Country, Kamloops Immigrant Services, Shuswap Nation Tribal Council, Kamloops Community YMCA-YWCA, Seasons Consulting Group Ltd. and Western Institute for the Deaf and Hard of Hearing.
Offices will be at 100-275 Lansdowne St. and 795 Tranquille Rd.
