Busy November at Kamloops Airport
November proved to be a busy month at Fulton Field.
Kamloops Airport once again saw an increase in the number of passengers last month, compared to November 2010.
Last month, 21,503 people passed through the airport, an eight per cent increase over the 19,907 who used the airport during the same month in 2010.
Officials expect this year to finish on par with 2010 for the total number of travellers through the airport.
With one month left in the year, passenger traffic at Kamloops Airport is down one per cent from 2010, with 238,394 people having flown in and out of Fulton Field.
However, the month wasn’t without its difficulties.
Airport officials noted several days of operation were interrupted due to heavy winds.
