Mission Hill tweaks plans
A development permit to tweak landscaping around the Mission Hill condo development has received the nod from Kamloops council.
New developers Brentwood Ventures, who took over the project from Mike Rink, are scrapping plans to build a pool on the site and want to put up signs to market the property.
The company hopes to eventually subdivide the lot and said the extra landscaping features it is adding around the property will make it easier to do so in the future.
City CAO David Trawin described the changes as minor, “but, because of the controversy around this development, we thought even a minor change like this should come to council.”
