Kamloops Airport stays busy
Kamloops Airport continues to be a busy place, with 22,427 travellers passing through it in July.
That number is up 5.5 per cent from the same month last year, which saw 21,254 people use the airport.
It’s also fairly consistent with the year-to-date figures, which show 159,161 people travelling to or from Fulton Field, up 4.8 per cent from the same period in 2011.
Airport managing director Fred Legace attributed the July bump to travellers taking advantage of convenient routes and destinations offered from the airport.
