Kamloops companies finalists in B.C. awards contest
Two Kamloops businesses have progressed to the finals of the Small Business BC Successful You Awards, based on public voting.
ROI Media Works and Western Industrial Solutions have received enough votes to proceed to the next stage of the contest.
ROI Media Works is competing for the Best Company Award for demonstrating exceptional leadership as well as a proven track record of growth and profitability.
ROI is also a finalist for Best Online Marketer Award, recognizing the integrated email and social-media marketing campaign that best demonstrates creativity, originality and appeal.
Western Industrial Solutions has been named a finalist for the Best Concept Award, recognizing the business that best demonstrates an exciting and viable business idea.
The top 10 businesses in six award categories were selected as finalists in the annual contest that recognizes the contributions that outstanding entrepreneurs make in BC.
Nominees have been selected by residents of B.C. who benefit from these businesses, with votes collected online using social media, e-communications and word of mouth. This year’s nominees come from various sectors, including technology, hospitality, tourism and health care.
More than 25 communities in British Columbia are represented.
The winners will be announced on Feb. 28 in Vancouver at the Successful You Awards Ceremony. More information on the finalists and the Successful You Awards can be found online at successfulyou.ca.
