Celebrate National Seniors Day on Oct. 1
In celebration of National Seniors Day, the City of Kamloops is inviting residents for tea and coffee, snacks and good conversation on Monday, Oct. 1, from 10 a.m. to noon at the Tournament Capital Centre.
There will be music, refreshments and information booths with news about community events and programs for seniors.
The Seniors Outreach Society, Centre for Seniors Information, the Tournament Capital Ambassadors, and parks, recreation, and cultural services staff will be on-hand to talk with guests about the opportunities available in the community for senior citizens.
