The Kamloops Stamp club held its twice-annual stamp show and auction on Saturday, Oct. 27, at Calvary Community Church, attracting buyers and sellers from the area. Harry Welton of Salmon Arm, a collector since the age of 12, pours over the “nickel bucket,” looking for stamps from 12 countries that make up his collection. Welton said out-of-country postings during a career of 25 years in the Canadian Army gave him many opportunities to collect stamps from afar.
