Quirks and Quarks on TRU agenda
The CBC’s man of science is the next speaker in the President’s Lecture Series at Thompson Rivers University.
Bob McDonald of Quirks and Quarks is scheduled to speak in the Grand Hall at the Campus Activity Centre on Monday, March 4, from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m.
McDonald has been talking and writing about science for more than three decades.
Another longtime journalist is also scheduled to speak at the university in April.
Frances Horodelski is an anchor on the Business News Network.
Like McDonald, she has been involved in her field for more than 30 years, including 25 years with two large investment dealers in Canada.
Horodelski is scheduled to speak on Thursday, April 18, at 4 p.m. in a location yet to be determined.
