Logan Lake man facing sex charges
A Logan Lake man accused of being involved in a sexual relationship with a 13-year-old girl is facing a pair of criminal charges.
The 29-year-old man, who hasn't been identified, is alleged to have been involved in a six-month relationship with the teenaged girl, beginning last June and ending in January.
"As a result, this male has been arrested and charges of sexual interference and sexual exploitation have been approved by Crown counsel," said RCMP Cpl. Dan Moskaluk.
The man, a friend of the victim's family, was arrested and released on strict conditions.
Mounties are asking anyone with information about the relationship to contact Logan Lake RCMP at 250-523-6222 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS.
The accused is expected to return to court on March 3.
