Smoke-Free Champions sought by the IHA
The Interior Health Authority is calling for nominations for the Smoke Free Champions for Change Awards.
The awards honour people who have made a difference in the lives of others by promoting smoke-free spaces, helping people quit smoking and preventing people from starting to smoke.
Nominations close on April 30.
The Smoke Free Champions for Change Awards are open to IHA staff and community members.
The call for nominations come in the midst of National Non-Smoking Week in Canada (Jan. 16 to Jan. 22).
Nomination forms are available online at http://www.interiorhealth.ca/nominate.aspx.
