TRU House of Learning nears opening
TRU’s newest building will soon be open to the public.
The House of Learning is expected to officially open its doors in late May.
The $32-million building, which will house a library, study areas and offices, was built to LEED gold environmental standards.
TRU board of governors chair Karl de Bruijn said he’s been impressed with what he’s seen so far.
“The detail and quality in there is just amazing,” he said.
The House of Learning is currently open only to TRU employees, but it’s expected to be unveiled at a grand opening on May 26.
