Crash was booze-related

A Kamloops woman’s vehicle would have been impounded following an alcohol-involved crash on Friday night (April 15), police say, if it hadn’t been totalled.

Police were called to a single-vehicle accident on Lac du Bois Road just after 6:30 p.m.

Kamloops RCMP Staff Sgt. Aird said the female driver lost control about a half-kilometre north of the cattle guard outside Batchelor Heights and rolled off the road.

She received minor injuries and a 90-day driving prohibition.
