TNRD doesn’t look far to find new CAO
Following a nationwide search that included more than 50 candidates, current Thompson-Nicola Regional District director of finance Sukh Gill has been appointed chief administrative officer.
As of Sept. 1, Gill will replace retiring CAO Greg Toma, who has held the position since June 2006.
“I would like to thank the board and appreciate this opportunity,” Gill said.
“I’m looking forward to working with the board and staff to deliver services to the constituents of the regional district.”
Gill has been TNRD’s director of finance since September 1999 and the deputy administrator since 2008. Before that, Gill was the director of finance with the City of Merritt.
