Rae in Kamloops to talk with Liberals
Federal Liberal Leader Bob Rae will be in Kamloops on Saturday, July 16, to meet with local Liberal supporters, to hear their ideas for the revitalization of the party.
The afternoon meeting will offer an opportunity for any and all Liberal supporters to speak with the leader about party organization and policy and specific ideas for the Kamloops-Thompson-Cariboo electoral district.
“We were very pleased that Bob Rae is making Kamloops his first stop in the Southern Interior since the federal election campaign,” electoral district president Don Graham said.
“We have a strong Liberal executive team in our riding and this visit will complement the initiatives that we are taking to engage Liberal supporters in sharing their vision for the party’s future.”
As time permits, an informal visit to the business areas on the south and north shores of Kamloops will complete Rae’s visit.
