Mounties seek nicotine bandits

Nearly $10,000 in stolen cigarettes are likely bound for the black market after a deliver truck was broken into late last week.

The vehicle was parked in the 2100-block of Farrington Court in Aberdeen on Wednesday night (Aug. 10). The next morning, the truck’s owner noticed the vehicle had been burgled.

Missing was approximately 100 cartons of cigarettes worth an estimated $9,000.

Anyone with information can call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS.
