Police look for driver in pedestrian incident

Kamloops Mounties are looking for the driver of a sedan that ran into a 45-year-old man while leaving a downtown parking lot this week.

Police say the driver identified herself to the pedestrian as Anna Fredrickson after driving a light-coloured sedan out of a parking lot in the area of Fourth Avenue and Seymour Street just after 6 p.m. on Tuesday, Aug. 30.

The pedestrian suffered minor injuries and slight bruising.

The driver is described as an elderly female and the vehicle might have had veteran licence plates.

Anyone with information can call police at 250-828-3000.
