Stabbing sends 18-year-old to hospital
One man was taken to hospital and another was taken into custody following a stabbing in North Kamloops on the weekend.
Kamloops RCMP Staff Sgt. Quentin Smith said emergency crews were called to the incident in the 100-block of Tranquille Road at about 11 p.m. on Friday, Sept. 16.
In an apartment, they found an 18-year-old man who had been superficially stabbed.
He was taken to Royal Inland Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
A police-dog unit located a suspect a few blocks away.
A 20-year-old man was arrested.
It’s not yet known if he has been charged.
