Another NDP leadership candidate in Kamloops
Another federal NDP leadership candidate is coming to town.
Paul Dewar, MP for Ottawa Centre, will be in Kamloops on Tuesday, Jan. 31, as part of his leadership-campaign tour of B.C.
Dewar is scheduled to meet with media at Thompson Rivers University at 11:30 a.m., after which he will meet with local NDP members at the Smorgasbord Deli, 225-Seventh Ave.
Dewar, Niki Ashton, Nathan Cullen, Thomas Mulcair, Peggy Nash, Romeo Saganash, Martin Singh and Brian Topp are vying for the leadership. Members vote on March 24.
