Charge laid in fatal accident
A charge has now been laid almost a year to the day in connection with a 2011 Highway 6 fatal accident that killed a Kamloops man.
Randy Duncan, 22, was driving a Ford F350 pickup with a female passenger and an infant when his truck was hit by a Super B tractor trailer unit at approximately 11:30 a.m. on April 28, 2011, 40 kilometres east of Cherryville.
Duncan died at the scene. His female passenger was taken to Kelowna General Hospital with serious but non-life-threatening injuries. The infant was not injured.
Terrance Edward Brown of Lavington, near Vernon, is facing a charge of operating a motor vehicle in a manner that is dangerous to the public causing death or injury.
