A freak windstorm on the morning of Tuesday, May 22, caused a blue spruce tree to land on a house at 2394 Omineca Dr. in Juniper. Neighbour Charles Milner said he saw the tree come down and called 911. Only one person was in the house at the time and he was OK, said Milner.
