Missing dog has ‘extinct’ bloodline

A woman in Washington state is offering a $1,000 reward for the return of a purebred champion show dog lost in Kamloops earlier this month.

Jessica Nash, breeder and co-owner of two-year-old Irish terrier Bonham, said the dog took off from a house on Munro Street in South Kamloops on June 3.

“He was bred out of frozen semen from a Swedish dog that is no longer alive,” she said, describing Bonham’s bloodline as “extinct.”

“This breeding was planned for many years and Bonham is the only puppy out of the litter of three that is intact and can carry on these old bloodlines.”

Nash said she co-owns Bonham with a woman who lives in Kamloops.

Anyone with information can call Nash at 360-557-6267 or email glenstalirishterriers@gmail.com.
