Kamloops firefighters extricate the male driver from his 1987 Chevy pickup truck following a four-vehicle accident on Wednesday, July 11, on Highway 1, just metres west of the Petersen Creek Bridge. The truck veered off the highway and went up an embankment, ending up precariously close to rolling into a steep gully. Traffic was briefly shutdown for both eastbound and westbound drivers.
