A Kamloops man is dead after a single-vehicle rollover on Highway 5A on Friday, July 20.
Kamloops Rural RCMP Staff Sgt. Grant Learned said emergency crews were called to a portion of the highway near Napier Lake, about 20 kilometres south of Kamloops, just before 3:30 p.m. after a motorist noticed skid marks leaving the roadway. Fire crews located a truck about 150 feet down an embankment.
The vehicle’s driver, identified by the BC Coroners Service as 18-year-old Victor Daniel Charlie, was found dead inside.
