Kamloops man dead after crash in Alberta
A Kamloops man is dead after a single-vehicle crash yesterday (Sept. 8) in Alberta.
Edson RCMP Const. Chad Hollinger said emergency crews were called to a single-vehicle crash on a secondary highway at about 10:40 a.m., and arrived to find a semi truck that had rolled.
The driver of the truck, a 54-year-old Kamloops man, was declared dead at the scene.
The accident took place on Highway 32 just east of Edson.
Hollinger said the investigation is ongoing, but no charges are being considered.
The name of the deceased has not yet been released.
Edson is 200 kilometers west of Edmonton.
