This is the aftermath of a house fire on Stewart Avenue on the North Shore on Saturday, Nov. 3. The Booth family — father, son and four children — renting the home managed to escape the blaze, but a cat died inside. Neighbours reported not being able to get through when calling 911 to report the fire. Donations are being accepted to help the family, who lost many possessions in the blaze.
