Home invasion results in arrests, injury
Two men are in custody after a violent home invasion in Kamloops on Wednesday, Feb. 6.
Just before 7 p.m., police say, four masked men forced their way into a home, the location of which Mounties have not disclosed.
One of the tenants suffered minor injuries after being assaulted with an unknown object, according to Kamloops RCMP Sgt. Ben Rodrigue.
Police arrived and set up a perimeter around the home and a police tracking-dog unit found two suspects a short distance away.
Rodrigue said they were arrested without incident and will likely face charges of break and enter and assault with a weapon.
No names have been made public.
