Dix in Kamloops to talk Science World
B.C. NDP Leader Adrian Dix will be in Kamloops on Friday, Feb. 15, to outline his party's proposal to restore funding for Science World to tour the province's schools.
In 2005, the B.C. Liberals created and funded the $1-million per year program that saw Science World staff visit classrooms across B.C.
Last year, the Liberals cut the funding and the program ended.
Dix will speak in the boardroom of the Thompson Rivers University Law School at 10 a.m.
