MICROWAVE COOKS UP INSTANT FIRE
Kamloops Fire Rescue responded to a report of a structure fire on Thursday, March 8, at the Crossroads Inn, at the corner of Sixth Avenue and Seymour Street in downtown Kamloops. KFR Assistant Chief Mike Adams said a microwave on the first floor was the cause of the small fire, which was quickly contained by fire crews. Residents waited outside until the smoke cleared, then were able to return to their units.
