Could you live in Kamloops on just $500 a month?
Editor:
There are many problems in Kamloops associated with government that need to be resolved.
People living with disabilities have a hard time getting medical needs taken care of, such as dental and vision.
People with disabilities have a much harder time living on what we earn from the ministry and could use the money, rather then see it go to useless things.
Many people in Kamloops and all over B.C. are having these types of problems.
Many of us are very frustrated with the amount of money we are being given for our support.
People living with disabilities receive only $500 to live on and pay bills and it is not enough to support us with our dentistry or to have our sight checked.
I am fighting to save Kamloops from the destructive path it is on.
We need to help people living with disabilities and help those living on the streets as many lives are at stake.
We deserve to have our rights back where they belong, with extra money so we can survive in this world.
For those with money, think of us and think of what you would do if you were in our shoes.
And, think about this: Would you be able to live on just $500 a month?
