In Kamloops, democracy has failed

Mayor Peter Milobar and city council have seemed to ignore the wishes of the people and have decided to proceed with the parkade project, even after the citizens clearly voiced their concerns and had asked that this scheme not be implemented.
In view of this decision to not recognize the democratic process, the citizens of Kamloops should arrange for a parade/ demostration to get their message through to elected officials.
When demoracy fails, demonstrations take root.
