What has happened to our language?
Why do so many people continue to say: “I would have went;” “Her and I;” “Him and I;” “For you and I:” “Between you and I;” and “I don’t know nothing.”
I am an old immigrant.
When we were taught English in Belgium, we learned to say, “I go, I went and I would have gone.”
