• Dogs take bite out of Warriors
The Timbits Bulldogs skated to a 14-8 victory over the Timbits Warriors in initiation D action at Valleyview Arena.
Lighting the lamp for the canines: Noah Bradley (6), Jacob Proulx (5), Liam Campbell (2) and Mason Swanton.
Jacob Haines (4), Cameron Ryles (2) Brendan Kirschner and Corbin Guenther replied for the Warriors.
Brooke Cave backstopped the Warriors, while Bailey Monteith posted the win in net for the Bulldogs.
• Vibe enjoy life on the road
The female senior A Kamloops Vibe posted a 2-1-0 record on a weekend road trip.
On Friday, Kamloops tied the South Coast Female Amateur Hockey League Killarney Knights 4-4.
The Vibe skated to a 4-3 win over the Richmond Devils on Saturday.
On Sunday, Alissa Hibbert and Alana Parker shared netminding duties in a 3-0 shutout win over Simon Fraser University.

• Brock Auto top Spitfires
The Brock Auto Avalanche topped the Kamloops Office Systems Spitfires 5-3 on Sunday, Jan. 30, in peewee recreation play.
Jake Barron (2), Keyron Pavlovich and Cleary Ambrose (2) scored for the Avs in support of winning goaltender Kenzie Sakaki-Hodder.
Dawson Reid and Brendan Bickert (2) lit the lamp for Office Systems.
• Kelowna too much for North Shore Lions
Kelowna topped the peewee tier 3 North Shore Lions 4-1 on Saturday in Kamloops.
Jaxon Reid scored the Lions' only goal and Braeden Hart added an assist.
Reid Gladman stopped 49 shots in a losing cause.
• Blue Thunder win a high-scoring affair
In initiation D action, the Blue Thunder left Valleyview Arena on Saturday celebrating 13-9 victory over the Ice Devils.
Ethan Dicostanzo netted six goals for the Thunder, Elessio Louvros and Jared Flodstrom scored hat-tricks and Sheldon Gerlib added a single.
Scoring for the Ice Devils: Jarrod Semchuk (5), Keagan Fletcher (2), Tyler Anderson and Sheldon Gerlib.
Domenico Comita posted the win in goal for the Thunder.
• Bruins come out on top
The Timbits Bruins topped the Timbits Black Knights 18-12 on Sunday at Brocklehurst Arena.
Harrison Ewert (8), Josh Glover (2), Connor Jensen, Tristin Collins, Benjamin Smith (2), Dakota Reid (3) and Parker Erickson lit the lamp for the Bruins.
Tyler Fernie (2), Kim Davidson (3), Aidan Sutter (4), Aislynn Ernst and Xander Denis (2) scored for the Knights.
Sam Fawcett earned the win between the pipes for the Bruins.
• Ice Ducks trample Spartans
The Kamloops Ice Ducks downed the Kelowna Spartans 5-1 on Sunday in atom development action.
Hayden Fidanza, Connor Milburn (2), Brendan Roche and Ty Kolle registered goals for the Ducks in support of winning netminder Max Palaga.
• Avalanche win, tie, lose at tourney
The Sandman Inn Avalanche posted a 1-1-1 record at an atom recreation tourney in Sicamous on the weekend.
In their first game, the Avs downed the Armstrong Black Knights 3-1.
Colton Davoren, Keaton Dell and Dawson Bradley scored for the Avalanche.
The Salmon Arm Grizzlies doubled the Avs 4-2 in the Kamloops squad's second tilt of the tournament.
Davoren and Dell were the Avs' talismen.
The host Sicamous Predators tied 1-1 with the Avs to close out the tourney.
Hudson Irvine scored the Kamloops squad's only goal in support of netminder Tyson Dmyterko, who backstopped the Avs in all three games.
Devils edge Warriors
The atom development LN Group Warriors suffered a 4-3 loss to the Kamloops Devils on the weekend.
Luke Recchi, Ryan Chyzowski and Adam Harrison sniped for the Warriors in a losing cause.
• Sharks taste silver in Sicamous
The atom recreation Kamloops Shark swam away from a Sicamous tournament with a silver medal.
In their first game, the Sharks tripled Kelowna 6-2.
Josh Olynyk (4) and Angus Mcquillan-Gordon (2) scored for the Sharks.
Nathan Nesci was in between the pipes for the win.
The Sharks, in their second game, topped the Kamloops Thunder 6-4.
Olynyk (2), Mcquillan-Gordon (2), Rhys Blundell and Andrew Shen registered goals for the Sharks.
Nesci was the winning netminder.
In their third game, the Sharks doubled the Hope Wildcats 4-2.
Olynyk, Mcquillan-Gordon, Blundell and Isaac DeRose bulged the twine for the Sharks.
Nesci posted his third win between the pipes.
The Sharks were shutout 4-0 by the Summerland Jets in the final.
• Wings too hot for Tigers
The Sandman Spicy Chicken Wings edged the Sandman Ice Tigers 6-4 on Sunday in atom recreation play.
Riley Toporowski, Jacob Stewart (2), Zach Bachand, Kassidy Sherwood and Branden McKimmie scored for the Wings.
Replying for the Tigers: Austin Stanton, A.J. McInnis, Jayden Russell, Jordan Swoboda.
Nik Shufletoski picked up the win in goal for the Wings.
• Maverick run to bronze
The bantam tier 2 Kamloops Maverick Motor Inn squad won bronze at a tournament in Prince George on the weekend.
Kamloops topped Terrace 7-2 to open the tourney.
Cole Clifford (2), Ryan Clifford, Jordan Passmore (2), Cole McCaskill and Dexter Robinson tallied for Kamloops in support of Josh Shank, who earned the shutout in goal.
Bailey De Palma posted the shutout in a 3-0 Maverick win over Williams Lake in Game 2.
Robinson, Cole Clifford and Joe Davis scored for Kamloops.
The Maverick edged Dawson Creek 5-4 in Game 3.
Davis, Cole Clifford (2), Dustin Vasil and David Larouche netted goals in the win.
Quesnel beat Kamloops 3-1 in a semifinal tilt.
Cole Clifford scored the Kamloops team's only goal.
The Maverick skated to a 6-2 win over Terrace in the bronze-medal matchup.
Robinson, Passmore (3), Cole Clifford and Joe Falsetta scored in the win in support of Shank, the winning goaltender.
• Chargers drive to victory
The Northern Trailer Chargers doubled the Mansini Steel Sharks 6-3 in bantam recreation play on Sunday.
Shaymus Stachoski (3), Joel Knuttila, Brogan Lloyd and Ryan Trousdell scored for the Chargers.
Cam Burnstad earned the win between the pipes for the Chargers.
Zac Danyluk, Joseph Grande and Antonio Guido scored for the Sharks.
• Rockets the cream of the crop
The Thompson Okanagan Rockets remain on top of the B.C. Female Midget AAA hockey league standings after two weekend wins.
On Saturday, the Rockets topped the Kootenay Wildcats 4-0 in Nelson.
Kelsey Freudenberger (2) Bre Frasca and Emily Gervais scored for Thompson Okanagan in support of winning netminder Tara Bouvette, who earned the shutout.
On Sunday, The Rockets beat the Wildcats 5-3.
Steph Schaupmeyer, Freudenberger (2), Frasca and Janessa Jenkins scored for Thompson Okanagan.
Shelby Tse was in net for the win.
• Ice Hawks soar to victory
The Sandman Ice Hawks posted two wins on the weekend in atom recreation action.
On Saturday, the Hawks topped the Sonic Boom 9-1.
Benjamin Ward (2), Eric Bertuzzi, Tyler Standen, Brandon Gramaud (4) and Carson Desmarais scored for the Ice Hawks in support of winning netminder Elijah Joly.
Cosmo Conradi scored the Sonic Boom's lone marker.
On Sunday, the Ice Hawks skated to a 9-4 win over the Blue Thunder.
Gramaud (4), Ward (2) and Devon Tournour (3) scored for the Ice Hawks.
Nathan Sandulescu picked up the win in goal.
Joshua Jensen, Connor Hall, Matej Pederson, Jordan Devries scored for the Blue Thunder.
• Outlaws outlast Titans
In peewee action, the Southgate Radiator Outlaws won 4-3 over the Kamloops Titans on Sunday.
Samm Perrin and Jayden Davidson each scored twice for the Outlaws.
• Hellcats skate to victory
The Kamloops Hellcats earned a 5-2 win over the Kamloops Splicers on Sunday at Valleyview Arena.
Scoring for the Hellcats: Chanelle Petri (2), Alison Jonsson, Fawn Pierro-Zabotel and Michelle Fortier.
Repying for the Splicers: Sam Hoffbeck and Morgan Nowoczin.
• Bantam Blazers ready for playoffs
The bantam AAA Kamloops Jardine Blazers finished league play with a 7-2 win over Vernon.
Carter Cochrane, Monty Chisholm (2), Addison Bazian, Mason Harding (2) and Chad Butcher scored for Kamloops.
Kyle Michalvosky earned the win between the pipes.
Kamloops begins its run at a provincial championship when the playoffs start on Feb. 18.
• Gamblers come out even
In peewee house action, the Zimmer Wheaton Gamblers tied the Kamloops North Stars 3-3.
Kyle McIlwain (2) and Ty Welsh-Hicks tallied for Zimmer Wheaton.
Vincent Daley in net for Gamblers; Jesse Stark for the North Stars.
• Aeros soar to W
In atom recreation action, the Aeros knocked off the Killer Beez 6-2.
Joel Crawford, Chloe Jordan, Ethan Crawford, Jack Thomson, Andrew Warner and John Black scored for the Aeros.
Zoe Birkett and Evan Guizzo tallied for the Beez.
