Hockey Wolves struggle in Vancouver
The Fountain Tire Kamloops Wolves, a team of 2001-born hockey players, was unable to record a win at the Challenge Cup in Vancouver on Victoria Day long weekend.
Kamloops opened the tournament with a 9-2 loss at the hands of the Rebels.
Blake Ablitt and Liam Rose scored for the Wolves.
In Game 2, the PHD Prospects edged Kamloops 3-2 in overtime.
Rose and Brandon Gremaud scored for Kamloops.
The Wolves, in their third game, lost 10-2 to the Vancouver Vipers.
Carter Adams and Ben Ward score for Kamloops.
The Wolves closed their tourney out with a 5-1 loss to the Edgey Islanders.
Ward scored Kamloops' only goal.
Nathan Nesci and Victor Church split time between the pipes on the weekend.
