Excel get first win
The Kamloops Excel of the Pacific Coast Soccer League registered their first win of the season on Sunday, June 26, topping Victoria United 4-3.
Down 2-1 in the second half, the Blaze were recipients of three goals from Oriel Torres. Braedon Burrows scored Kamloops' first goal.
Allan Connor was in net for the win.
On Saturday, June 25, Kamloops lost 4-2 to Coquitlam Khalsa.
Torres scored both of the Excel's goals in the loss.
Kamloops (1-8-1) is in action next at 7:30 p.m. on July 9 at Hillside Stadium.
