Classics attend Long Course AA Championships
The Kamloops Classics were in attendance at the Swim B.C. Long Course AA Championships, which wrapped up on Monday, June 27, in Kelowna.
Ethan Phillips,12, swam well, making the finals in all of his swims. He came home with seven gold medals and one bronze.
Phillips earned the right to compete in the 100- and 200-metre backstroke and the 1,500-metre freestyle at the B.C. AAA swim championships in July
Gurcharan Uppal, Ally Sandulescu, Taryn MacLeod and Marina Ackermann made up the Classics' under-12 girls' relay team, which won a silver in the 200-metre medley.
Logan MacLeod, 13, won one gold medal, two silver medals and one bronze medal in several different disciplines.
