KYSA announces summer-camp dates
The Kamloops Youth Soccer Association announced its summer soccer-camp schedule, which includes a five-day Play Like a Pro camp conducted by the Vancouver Whitecaps of Major League Soccer.
The Whitecaps' camp costs $129 and will run from Aug. 22 to Aug. 26.
To register, log on to whitecapsfc.com, click on the development link and then follow the camps link.
There are two KYSA camps for players aged 6-10. The first runs from July 18 to July 22; the second from Aug. 15 to Aug. 19.
The first camp for players aged 11 to 14 will run from July 25 to July 29; the second from Aug. 29 to Sept. 2.
A goalkeepers' camp for players aged 10 to 16 will run from Aug. 29 to Sept. 2.
McArthur Island will host all the camps.
