Fastball provincials in Kamloops

The Squirt C Girls' Provincial Fastball Championship, hosted by the the Kamloops Extreme Excavating Diggers, will run from Friday, July 8, to Sunday, July 10, at Charles Anderson Stadium.

Attending the tourney from across the province will be the Victoria Bumblebees, the Victoria Peninsula Power, the North Vancouver Panthers, the North Vancouver Thunder, the New West Royals, the Richmond Bulldogs 99, the Cloverdale Outlaws, the Chilliwack Green Machine, the Mission Thunderbirds, the Cawston Kobau Koyotes, the Kelowna Krushers, the West Kootenay Wildcats, the Clearwater Crushers, the Port Moody Redtails and the Maple Ridge Tigers.

The action gets underway at 8 a.m. each day.

The Diggers play on Friday at noon and 4 p.m., on Saturday at 10 a.m. and 4 p.m.

Sunday's semifinal is scheduled for 2 p.m., with the final set for 4 p.m.
