Balson wins Rivershore Amateur
Riley Balson of Kamloops was the overall low-gross title winner at the 2011 Langlois Brown Dundee Wealth Rivershore Men's Amateur golf championship, which wrapped up at Rivershore Estate and Golf Links on Monday, Aug. 1.
Balson fired a three-round total of 214.
Jeremy Osborne of Salmon Arm, who shot 216, and Mark Smith of Kelowna, with 223, finished second and third, respectively, in the championship flight (o to 4 handicap).
