The TRU WolfPack women's soccer squad, with the addition of Andy Gelowitz, has rounded out its coaching staff for the 2011 B.C. Colleges Athletic Association season.

Gelowitz, 33, will be an assistant to head coach Tom McManus.

“I'm looking forward to working with players of this calibre and dedication,” Gelowitz said in a TRU press release.

“I see this as an opportunity to see how Tom coaches at this level of soccer and continue learning as a coach.”

Danilo Caron is the team's other assistant.

Gelowitz, a former provincial-level player, spent the last five years coaching rep squads with the Kamloops Youth Soccer Association.

The WolfPack opened training camp today (Aug. 15) and their first league match is scheduled for Sept. 24 at Hillside Stadium against the University of British Columbia Okanagan Heat.
