Kamloops Community Football season gets underway

The Kamloops junior bantam and peewee Broncos opened their Kamloops Community Football seasons on Sunday, Aug. 28.

In the junior bantam game, Kamloops was blanked 24-0 by the Kelowna Dragons in the Little Apple.

Tyston Harrison, Myles Everett, Joseph Dimalo, Ty Robinson and Brayden McLean had strong games for the Broncos.

The junior bantam squad's next game is scheduled for noon on Sunday, Sept. 4, at Hillside Stadium.

The peewee Broncos were downed 36-6 on Sunday by the Dragons in Kelowna.

Jayden Brown scored Kamloops' only touchdown, while Hunter Dairon and Ripley Martin had strong games in a losing cause.
