Raiders roll on weekend
The Kamloops Rugby Club Raiders downed the Ex-Britannia Lions 53-7 on Saturday, Sept. 24 in the River City.
Kamloops’ women, also playing at home on Saturday, won their match with United Rugby Club of Coquitlam by a score of 57-12.
Also on Saturday, Kamloops’ under-19 team fell 24-10 to Kelowna, while the Raiders’ under-16 side drew 24-24 with Kelowna in a seven-a-side matchup.
Both the men’s and women’s teams are at home on Saturday. Oct. 1.
The Raiders’ women host Meraloma Rugby Club of Vancouver at 11:30 a.m. The men host Chilliwack at 1 p.m.
