- Pack keeper earns player of the week
Emily Edmunson, goalkeeper for the TRU WolfPack women’s soccer team, is the Pacific Western Athletic Association women’s soccer player of the week.
She came up big in the Pack’s 1-1 draw with the UBC Okanagan Heat last weekend.
“She was phenomenal and made some superb saves, especially one late,” said TRU’s head coach Tom McManus.

The TRU WolfPack’s hockey squad earned a 5-2 victory over their bitter rivals, the Simon Fraser University Clan, in exhibition B.C. Intercollegiate Hockey League action on Saturday, Sept. 24, in Burnaby.
“We really executed the power-play.” WolfPack coach Don Schulz said.
Jassi Sangha (2), Duncan Schulz and Andrew Fisher (2) scored for TRU in support of netminder Riley Wall.
Two of the WolfPack’s goals came on the power play.
The Pack are in Calgary at SAIT Polytechnic this weekend for an exhibition tournament.
