Storm brew a pair of weekend wins

The Kamloops Storm won twice on the weekend in Kootenay International Junior Hockey League play, edging the Chiefs 7-6 in Kelowna on Saturday, Oct. 1, and the Chase Heat 5-3 on Friday, Sept. 30, at McArthur Island Sports Centre.

Next up for the Storm are the Revelstoke Grizzlies on Saturday, Oct. 8.

The Storm’s next home game is scheduled for 5 p.m. on Sunday, Oct. 9, when the Sicamous Eagles visit McArthur.

Kamloops sits tied atop the KIJHL with 13 points in eight games.
