Wildcats run wild on Broncos
The Kamloops Wildcats blanked the Kamloops Broncos 32-0 in peewee Kamloops Community Football action at Hillside Stadium on Thanksgiving Weekend.
Quarterback Carsen Day of the Wildcats threw for 67 yards, including a 24-yard touchdown pass to Reggie O'Rourke.
Ben Prokopetz scored three rushing touchdowns and Adam Buholzer scampered for one of his own.
Cody Watt, Denzel Marican, Cole Simmons, Jimmy Gustason and Wyatt Gibbons of the Wildcats combined for 27 tackles.
Elijah Hunt, Preston Jenkins, Brendan, Manion Emerson Foster Braydon Smith, Marcus Janzen and Cole Fink had solid performances for the Broncos.
The Wildcats (1-3-1) host the Salmon Arm Colts at noon at Norbrock Stadium on Sunday, Oct. 16.
