Lions split weekend series
The North Kamloops Lions split a pair of games with South Okanagan on Thanksgiving weekend in Kamloops.
South Okanagan blanked Kamloops 2-0 on Saturday, Oct. 8, at McArthur Island Sports Centre.
Caelen Hollings was between the pipes for the Lions.
North Kamloops bounced back on Sunday, Oct. 9, doubling South Okanagan 6-3 at Valleyview Arena.
Dario Piva scored a hat-trick and added three assists for the winning team, which went with Matt Hicketts in net.
Bryce McDonald scored once and provided two helpers, with Kyle Hutton and McCoy Pearce-Orr adding singles.
Hutton, Pearce-Orr, Zack Birkett and Felix Nachtigal added assists.
