Kamloops impressive in weekend field lacrosse wins
Kamloops 1 won two under-14 Interior Field Lacrosse League games on the weekend (Oct.14 to Oct. 16).
Anthony Matusiak and Brady Georget each scored twice and Jarod Murphy, Brendan Bickert and Mateo Dewey added singles in Kamloops 1's 7-2 win over North Okanagan.
Kamloops 1 also earned a 14-0 victory over Kamloops 2 on the weekend.
Ryan Dergousoff (3), Aaron Heinze, Josh Bosher, Brayden Jones (2), Dewey (2), Bickert (2), Matusiak (2) and Georget scored for Kamloops 1.
Braden Nicklas is Kamloops 1's goaltender.
