Vikes hammer Mt. Baker

The Valleyview Vikings hosted Mt. Baker secondary of Cranbrook on Saturday, Oct. 22, and won the B.C. High School Football matchup 48-0.

Riley Frank led the Vikings' offence with four rushing touchdowns and Nick Schmidt led all Valleyview defenders with 10 tackles and an interception, which he ran in for a touchdown.

"The coaches are very happy to see the collective efforts of our players, especially our Grade 12s, be rewarded," Valleyview head coach Cory Bymoen said.

Tomas Jensen and Wyatt Brown added rushing touchdowns for the 2-3 Vikings.

Valleyview will play the host Kalamalka Lakers in Vernon on Saturday, Oct. 29.
